Challenge & Solution

The Problem. The Platform.

What we uncovered in the field — and the solution we built to address it directly.

01 / The Challenge

Philippine Fun Runs Are Still Running on Google Forms

  • Registrations managed through Google Forms and Facebook Messenger threads
  • Payments confirmed manually from GCash screenshots and bank transfer receipts
  • Kit distributions tracked in notebooks, leading to missing bibs and unclaimed packs
  • Race results published hours after events end — or never published at all
  • No dedicated platform existed for the Philippine fun run market

02 / The Solution

One Platform From Registration to Finish Line

  • End-to-end platform covering registration, payments, kit release, and results
  • GCash, Maya, and card payments confirmed automatically — no screenshots needed
  • QR code kit release replaces manual lists at bib pickup booths
  • Chip timing data imported and published to a live results page within minutes
  • Real-time organizer dashboard with live registration counts, revenue, and kit status

Questions

Have questions about RunningMan – Race Event Management? Find answers to the most common ones below. Our team is always ready to help with anything else.

Runners visit the event page, select their race category such as 5K, 10K, or 21K, fill in their details including shirt size, emergency contact, and waiver, and complete payment through GCash, Maya, or card. A registration confirmation and QR code are sent automatically by email within seconds of payment.
Runningman.ph supports GCash, Maya, major credit and debit cards, and direct bank transfer, all through one checkout. Runners do not need to send screenshots or wait for manual confirmation. Payment is verified automatically and registration is confirmed right away.
Each registered runner gets a unique QR code linked to their bib number and shirt size. At the kit release booth, volunteers scan the QR code to pull up the runner's details, confirm the shirt size, and mark the kit as released. No manual lists, no lookups.
Race results are published within minutes of the timing data being uploaded. Organizers import chip timing files into the dashboard, and Runningman.ph processes and publishes finisher results sorted by category, gender, and age group to the public event page.
Yes. The organizer dashboard supports multiple simultaneous events under one account. Each event has its own registration page, participant list, kit tracking, and results page. Organizers can switch between events and manage communications for each one independently.
Each race category can have its own participant cap. Once a category is full, registration closes automatically and the category is marked as sold out. Organizers can also set registration deadlines and cutoff dates per category from the dashboard.
